Georgia Bulldogs legend and current Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers is entering the 2025 NFL season with a great honor.
The league unveiled more player rankings on its Top 100 list, and Bowers makes his debut at No. 24. He's the top-ranked tight end on the list so far, ranking ahead of Kansas City Chiefs' tight end Travis Kelce (No.31) and San Francisco 49ers' George Kittle (No. 37).
Here's what NFL.com had to say about Bowers' rank:
" It was a historic rookie season for Bowers in Las Vegas. Whoever was under center for the Raiders, Bowers was the consistent threat in Vegas’ offense. Bowers set a new rookie record for receptions and broke Hall of Famer Mike Ditka’s 63-year-old TE record for receiving yards set in 1963. Despite not winning AP Offensive Rookie of the Year, Bowers made the Pro Bowl, earned first-team All-Pro honors and now makes an appearance on the Top 100 ."
Bowers shattered multiple records last fall, including the NFL's all-time rookie receptions mark with 112 catches, surpassing Puka Nacua’s previous record. He also broke Mike Ditka’s long-standing rookie tight end receiving yards record, racking up 1,194 yards along with five touchdowns. His 596 yards after the catch led all NFL tight ends.
In addition to setting a new Raiders franchise record for single-season receptions, Bowers earned First-Team All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors. And his Pro Football Focus grade of 85.1 was the highest ever for a rookie tight end and trailed only George Kittle and Trey McBride.
With a full season under his belt, fans can expect bigger and better things from Bowers this upcoming fall.
