Georgia Football DL Justin Greene Signs LOI on Early National Signing Day

It’s December 20th, otherwise known as Early National Signing day on this year’s version of the always hectic College Football calendar. The overwhelming majority of Georgia’s 2024 signing class will be solidified in hard writing today. With ten signees already enrolled

The latest to sign their LOI is defensive lineman Justin Greene. He is rated as the 23rd-best defensive lineman in this year's class and the 21st-best player in the state of Georgia, according to 247sports composite rankings. 

We were able to catch up with Greene in May of this year and we talked to him about his recruitment to Georgia and he provided some insight on what defensive line coach Tray Scott is planning for him to play. Here is what he said: 

"[Scott's] words were a big end. I think they have it set up where there is an outside linebacker on one side and then a big end on one side. He wants me to set that edge, maybe play 4i sometimes on run, but yeah, mostly five, six technique."
