The Caitlin Clark return to the Indiana Fever lineup was one to remember. After missing five games, the former Iowa star came back with a statement performance.

Clark led the Indiana Fever to a 102-88 win over the defending WNBA champion New York Liberty. Not only were the Liberty the reigning champs, but they were also unbeaten at 9–0 heading into the game.

Clark delivered a near triple-double, scoring 32 points, handing out nine assists, and pulling down eight rebounds in a dominant effort.

Following the game, Clark's performance became the talk of the internet. Among the reactions was a notable comment from an NBA superstar. Giannis Antetokounmpo responded to a TikTok clip of Clark's highlights with a clear show of support:

"She's tough," Antetokounmpo said in a comment.

Antetokounmpo, the 15th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, has spent his entire career with the Milwaukee Bucks. He led the team to an NBA championship in 2021 and remains the face of the franchise.

Despite trade rumors circulating, he’s got two years left on his contract, with a player option for 2027–28. He’s set to earn $54 million next season.

As for Clark, she won the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year after back-to-back Naismith College Player of the Year and Wooden Award honors. She won’t turn 24 until January and is already one of the most talked-about players in the league.

Clark’s dominance and growing support prove she’s already reshaping the WNBA in just her second season, even NBA super stars agree!

The Fever return to action Tuesday night in Indianapolis, where they’ll take on the Connecticut Sun.
