The College Football Playoff Selection Show took place on Sunday, and the official 12-team bracket has been released, complete with a full slate of games set to begin on December 20th.
The four first-round matchups are all highly anticipated, and one matchup will headline the prime-time slot on December 20th, while the other three will be played the following day on December 21st.

Ultimately, the committee chose SMU, despite their loss in the ACC Championship Game, over Alabama, who had three losses and did not play that weekend.
