During this week's episode of "Monday Night RAW," the WWE paid tribute to the late Hulk Hogan. Interestingly enough, his daughter Brooke wasn't in attendance.
Brooke opened up about her father's death on Tuesday, releasing a heartfelt statement on Instagram. She talked about their unbreakable bond as well as her father's health-related battles. It turns out he had 25 surgeries in just the past decade alone.
"My dad's blood runs through my veins. His eyes shine through my children. And our bond has never broken, not even in his final moments," she wrote. "We had a connection deeper than words, one that spanned lifetimes. I am so grateful that I knew the real version of him. Not just the one the world viewed through a carefully curated lens. We shared a quiet, sacred bond, one that could be seen and felt by anyone who witnessed us together.
"When he left this earth, it felt like part of my spirit left with him. I felt it before the news even reached us. He used to remind me, ‘All of this is temporary and I’ll always find my way back to you.’ I truly believe that — we will find each other in every lifetime. I know he’s at peace now, out of pain, and in a place as beautiful as he imagined. He used to speak about this moment with such wonder and hope. Like meeting God was the greatest championship he’d ever have."
Shortly after releasing that statement, Brooke revealed why she didn't attend the WWE's tributes for her father on "Monday Night RAW" and "SmackDown."
Brooke claims she wasn't invited to either show. She posted this message on her Instagram Story: "For those of you giving me crap for not attending my Dad's tributes, @WWE did not extend an invite."
The WWE has not responded to this post from Brooke Hogan.
For what it's worth, Nick Hogan made an appearance on "Monday Night RAW." It's unclear if the WWE legend's 35-year-old son was invited or if he went out of his way to get tickets.
