Lawrence “Jay” Timmons knows what it takes to have a successful career in football from watching hid dad, but now it’s time for him to carve his own path.
Even though Timmons, a 5-foot-11, 175-pound 2026 prospect, still has multiple high seasons at Western Pennsylvania powerhouse Pine Richland, he’s been treating himself at football camps for recruits in recent weeks. Timmons then offered some insight about what went on and his current mindset to WV Sports Now.
When asked to compare both programs, it’s clear the son of the former Steeler Super Bowl champion feels more confident about how he performed in Morgantown and the vibes around the Mountaineers.
