Laura Rutledge earned rave reviews for her performance at The Masters this year.
ESPN faced some scrutiny for its coverage of The Masters this year. The Worldwide Leader in Sports faced backlash for having Jason Kelce be a featured part of the Par 3 Tournament coverage. ESPN also faced backlash for showcasing non-golf celebrities like Kevin Hart and The Miz from WWE.
But Rutledge, known for her coverage of college football and the NFL, stood out. She was the best part of ESPN's coverage.
Rutledge seamlessly blends class, elegance and fun while hosting ESPN's coverage of The Masters, live from Augusta National.
She had some fun interviews with celebrities, like Rafael Nadal and Niall Horan, while making sure to keep the tradition, history and pageantry surrounding The Masters in tact. It's not easy to do that, as fans have seen with Jason Kelce, but Rutledge did it very well.
"You’re incredible," one fan wrote.
"You were amazing all week ❤️," another added.
"The best there is ❤️," one shared.
'Stunningly Beautiful ❤️," one fan added.
"Looking as elegant as ever….⛳️," one fan added.
"Wow! Were do you get a perfect match dress for Augusta?" one fan added.
"What a smile and that dress ❤️," one fan added.
Rutledge had a lot of praise coming her way for her showing at The Masters in Georgia over the weekend.
The final round of The Masters will air on CBS.
