According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the new Las Vegas Athletics’ new stadium has now taken on a new shape.
The construction has now gone vertical as seen in a new photo shared by the team.
It’s been a little over two months since the groundbreaking ceremony was held. The construction crews have been building beams and walls to the structure. They have also began pouring concrete columns.
It is being reported that the vertical progress will be able to be seen sometime in the next month. There will be a 10-foot wall built around the site in the southeast corner according to the team president Marc Badain.
The work on the stadium got the green light after Clark County granted the team a building permit on August 26. It is being reported that the concrete work is valued at $87 million while the steel work on the stadium is valued at $70.5 million.
Athletics vice chairman Sandy Dean details that the team hopes to receive a steel permit in November.
The stadium is still on target to be completed by opening day of 2028 and that’s according to a press release that was issued last week.
