Notre Dame Offers Fast Rising Pass Rusher Darren Ikinnagbon
Matt Cashore, USA TODAY Sports

Notre Dame has gotten off to a tremendous start recruiting the defensive line in the 2025 recruiting class. They already have secured commitments from defensive tackle Davion Dixon and defensive ends CJ May and Joseph Reiff. Add in Chicago hybrid defender Dominik Hulak and the Irish staff is loading up on talented defenders up front.

On Monday, they added a very intriguing player to the board in Hillsdale (N.J.) High School pass rusher Darren Ikinnagbon. The New Jersey native is one of the big risers in the 2025 recruiting class, seeing more and more attention following a tremendous junior campaign.

With the recent offer from Notre Dame, Ikinnagbon is putting together quite the offer list. Some of the notable schools that have extended offers so far include the Irish, Georgia, Oklahoma, Penn State, Miami, Pitt, West Virginia, Boston College, Duke, Iowa State, Wake Forest, Cincinnati, Rutgers, and Syracuse among others.

So far only 247Sports has rated Ikinnagbon. They have him pegged as a four-star recruit, sitting as the No. 240 overall player and No. 24 EDGE in the 2025 class. Judging by his offer list, the other platforms will follow suit and rank him soon.
