The Ohio State Buckeyes were previously predicted to make a big splash along the defensive line on the recruiting trail. On Tuesday, On3's Steve Wiltfong still projected that to happen.
Fellow On3's Chad Simmons also agreed.
The official On3 Recruiting X account posted Tuesday that the latest predictions from both Wiltfong and Simmons have the Buckeyes landing a commitment from four-star defensive lineman Khary Wilder.
"On3's Steve Wiltfong and Chad Simmons have logged expert predictions for Ohio State to land four-star DL Khary Wilder," wrote the account.
That's the same prediction Wiltfong at the beginning of June.
"Last week I wrote that I liked where Ohio State stood with touted defensive lineman Khary Wilder and have logged that On3 RPM as well," wrote Wiltfong.
The Buckeyes appear to be gaining momentum on the recruiting trail again. On Sunday, Ohio State received a commitment from four-star running back Favour Akih.
In addition to where they are with Wilder, Wiltfong also sees the Buckeyes in a great spot to land four-star offensive lineman Drew Evers.

The Buckeyes have the fourth-rated recruiting class according to 247Sports. But Ohio State has yet to land a commitment from an edge rusher.
Standing at 6-foot-4 and 260 pounds, Wilder will play his senior year of high school at Junipero Serra in Gardena, California.
