By now, Ducks fans know that Oregon landed the No. 1 wide receiver in the 2025 recruiting class in Dakorien Moore. He'll be suiting up this summer for Oregon with a chance to earn immediate playing time if he wows during camp.
That hasn't stopped Oregon from aggressively pursuing the No. 1 wide receiver next year as well in Chris Henry Jr, who has long been committed to Ohio State. Oregon has been after him for a long time, recruiting him heavily over the course of the last year.
While flipping Henry from Ohio State isn't going to be easy, it's clearly a huge priority for Oregon to work on building an elite group of weapons over the next couple years, and especially when you consider that they would be attempting to steal him away from not only the best team in the country, but their direct Big Ten rival that just embarrassed them in the Rose Bowl. Henry chose a very interesting outfit while training that's enough to raise the eyebrows of Duck fans.

Henry is balling out down at Mater Dei, the California powerhouse that Oregon has strong ties to. The 6'6" 195 lbs wide receiver is a rare combination of length, explosiveness, and body control. He's a potential crown jewel type player. Ohio State getting Henry to pair with last year's freshman phenom Jeremiah Smith would be absolutely disgusting.
One thing that Oregon has going for them would be the role fit. Moore is a lethal player in his own right, but he profiles more as a Z wide receiver that you can move around the formation and get the ball to in space, while the outside role would be a wide open lane for Henry to fill.
Oregon had Henry in Eugene last month for Junior Day, and continues to push hard. This is going to be a story to watch from now all the way to December's early signing period.
