Paige Bueckers Reveals Her All-Time UConn Starting Five

Few women's basketball programs boast the kind of history Geno Auriemma's UConn Huskies can

From OGs like Rebecca Lobo, Diana Taurasi, Sue Bird and Swin Cash, to more modern stars like Breanna Stewart, Maya Moore, Moriah Jefferson and Tina Charles — you'd be hard-pressed to find a better list of names that have passed through one university.

Prior to tip-off of Sunday's exciting matchup vs. Dawn Staley and No. 4 South Carolina, Connecticut's Paige Bueckers was tasked with coming up with what her all-time Huskies starting five would be and here's what she told Sports Illustrated:

"I'll say my UConn starting five would probably be... Sue Bird at the one, DT [Diana Taurasi] at the two, Maya [Moore] at the three, Stewie [Breanna Stewart] at the four — Stefanie Dolson was my favorite player growing up so her at the five," Bueckers said.

Realistically, you could probably make three or four legitimate starting fives when it comes to the ladies in Storrs and there would be no wrong answers.

Maybe one day Bueckers will find herself on similar lists with what she's been able to overcome injury-wise and still turn herself into one of the best players in the nation.

Her near triple-double against the Gamecocks helped lift the Huskies to an impressive 87-58 win to snap SC's 71-game home winning streak as Connecticut improves to 24-3 on the season
