ESPN's College Gameday television program hit the road on Saturday morning to cover the SEC Championship Game matchup between No. 5 Georgia and No. 2 Texas in Atlanta.

During the picking segment, former Michigan Wolverines star Desmond Howard and former West Virginia Mountaineers punter Pat McAfee were tasked with making picks for a handful of big games, including the Marshall Thundering Herd vs. Louisiana Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns Sun Belt Championship Game.

Both Howard and McAfee chose the Herd as they sent well wishes to ailing former Marshall superstar and Heisman finalist Randy Moss, who is battling an undisclosed "personal health issue" that has caused him to step away from the sports desk for the time being.

"I'm going with Marshall and sending well wishes to my friend Randy Moss," Howard said.

McAfee echoed the former Wolverine, Heisman Trophy winner and Super Bowl MVP's pick.

"Shout out to the Thundering Herd and to Randy Moss, you were my favorite athlete growing up obviously we all love ya. Give me Marshall," McAfee said prior to celebrity guest picker Timothy Chalamet going with the Ragin' Cajuns.
