Pro Football Focus recently unveiled one player outside the first round who's a good NFL fit in this month's draft. Cincinnati landed with Ohio State pass rusher Jack Sawyer.

The star defender wouldn't have to move far for the next step in his NFL journey.

"Given the Bengals' uncertainty on the edge with disgruntled pass rusher Trey Hendrickson, grabbing a high-floor player like Sawyer would be the perfect plug-and-play option at 4-3 defensive end in Cincinnati’s scheme. The senior pass rusher notched a 90.7 PFF pass-rush grade on true pass sets in 2024," Mason Cameron wrote.

Cincinnati needs depth around Hendrickson and Myles Murphy, who figures to have a lot more opportunities with former Ohio State Buckeye Sam Hubbard now retired.

Sawyer is ranked 54th on the consensus big board and 11th among all edge rushers.
