After adding Dream Tryout winner Trae Nunn earlier this week, the City Reapers continued making moves, as they announced the signing of forward Howard Williams on Friday afternoon
Williams is a 6-5, 180 lb forward who is ranked 53rd in the class of 2027 and also lands as the top ranked player from the state of Illinois. Williams played his sophomore season with Oak Hill Academy in Virginia where he played a crucial role in leading them to a record of 23-11
Over the summer, Williams played with Team Haliburton on the Pro16 Puma circuit and in his first game with the team he dropped a blistering 42 points to lead the team to a win. Playing in Richmond with Team Haliburton, Williams led the team with a scoring average of 22.8 PPG while also posting around 9.0 RPG and 4.0 APG
Williams joins a City Reapers roster that has really started to come together over the last couple of weeks. Returning elite talent like Moustapha Diop and Kole Grandison, the Reapers have now surrounded those guys with elite players like Williams, Trae Nunn and King Sanders
