Whether it's Justin Fields or Caleb Williams or a Bears QB to be named later, they'll be working extensively next season with Robbie Picazo.

The Bears announced Wednesday they have hired Picazo to be the offensive assistant/quarterbacks when they officially unveiled their full coaching staff. Picazo will work closely with quarterbacks coach Kerry Joseph.

Picazo has been in the NFL coaching the last two seasons, last year with the Seattle Seahawks and the previous season with the Houston Texans as an offensive assistant. Prior to that he was at Rice for four years, two as quarterbacks coach and two as running backs coach. Before that he was an assistant at Stanford, where he was quarterback from 2009-12.

Picazo also was part of the Bill Walsh coaching fellowship program with Atlanta for a portion of 2017.
