RWE continues to stack their roster, this time adding elite international prospect Mathias Vazquez
Vazquez is a 6-8 forward from Brazil who most recently played for Real Betis Baloncesto Sevilla 2nd Team in Spain. Vazquez started at small forward in Spain and while there, led the team in scoring with 17.7 PPG and rebounding at 8.5 RPG
On top of his experience in Spain, Vazquez has ample experience playing on the Brazilian national team. As a 16 year old, Vazquez played with Brazil at the U18 FIBA Americup where he was the team’s second leading scorer at 12.0 PPG while also finishing second in rebounds (5.2 RPG) and assists (2.8 APG). This year, still at just 16 years old, Vazquez was elevated to the Brazilian Senior National Team, where he played at the FIBA Americup Qualifiers and helped the team earn their way into the 2025 FIBA Americup

2008 is another very top heavy generation, with some very strong players towards the top with Yimga and Vasquez. Intriguing names down the list from France and Spain as well
