Scott Williams hits nine-dart finish during Players Championship 24 third round tie in Milton Keynes

As Beau Greaves and Luke Littler were facing off in a generational battle on the streaming board, Scott Williams was moving through the gears and producing exceptional darts of his own as he reached the Last 16 of Players Championship 24.

Williams saw off James Hurrell 6-0 in the Last 32 averaging 94 in the process and hit the perfect leg. It was in the very first leg too as it really set the tone for Williams to break and seal a 2-0 lead.

He went 180 - 180 - 141 as he sealed the feat. Ordinarily too when one goes in a lot more follow so keep an eye out likely for more over the next two days in Milton Keynes but it is the darting showman who produces the brilliance.

He now moves through to the Last 16 where he could face Michael van Gerwen who is on the verge of beating Ryan Joyce. A mix of top names and unknown faces making their mark too across the MK Arena.
