Shedeur Sanders Has Telling Admission On Playing With Aaron Rodgers

Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders spent Thursday in Pittsburgh visiting the Steelers for a top-30 visit.

The Steelers are doing their homework on the 2025 quarterback class since they only have two quarterbacks on their current roster, Mason Rudolph and Skylar Thompson. They have an offer out to Aaron Rodgers but he's being very patient and hasn't decided if he wants to play in 2025.

Rodgers visited the Steelers' facility after free agency started and while the visit went well, he is still taking his time with his decision.

Because of that, they are scouting some of the quarterbacks in this class, including Sanders and Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart.

They had Sanders in for a visit on Thursday and before leaving Pittsburgh, he recapped it with Kay Adams on her "Up & Adams" show.

Adams asked him about the possibility of sitting behind Rodgers for the 2025 season if Rodgers signs with the Steelers and he confirmed that it wouldn't be an issue.

"If that's the way it plays out, that's how it plays out," Sanders told Adams.

Sanders has been widely projected to go in the top five of the 2025 NFL Draft but if he starts sliding, things could get interesting in a hurry. The New Orleans Saints make a ton of sense for him at No. 9 but if they also pass on him, the Steelers could look to snag him when they pick at 21.

He'll have to see how the opening round of the 2025 NFL Draft plays out when it comes around on April 24. The 2025 NFL Draft will take place from April 24-26.
