Slow Horses season 4 has its release date, and there’s not long to wait.
The eminently watchable spy thriller series returns for a fourth season on 4 September, 2024, on Apple TV+. Two episodes will drop on its premiere day, followed by one new episode every Wednesday through October.
Set largely in London and based on the Slough House series of novels by Mick Herron, it stars Gary Oldman as the obnoxious MI5 reject leading a band of incompetent agents who were all fired from their previous roles.
The series premiered on Apple TV+ on 1 April, 2022 to rave reviews, with a 95% on Rotten Tomatoes. Its second season did even better, currently sitting on a perfect 100%. That explains why its previous season won two BAFTAs and three further nominations.
The returning cast also includes Kristin Scott Thomas, Jack Lowden, Saskia Reeves, Rosalind Eleazar, Christopher Chung, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Kadiff Kirwan and Jonathan Pryce. Joining them for the first time are Hugo Weaving, Joanna Scanlan, Ruth Bradley, Tom Brooke and James Callis.
It's easy to keep little secrets… but dangerous to spill explosive ones.
