At Liberty North High School in Liberty, Missouri, the Eagles offense is producing great pass-catchers. Two-way player Jaxen Proden is just that. He also plays basketball for the Eagles.

Proden plays both wide receiver and defensive back for the Eagles. In 2024, Proden caught 20 passes for 203 yards and two touchdowns. He averaged a first down on every catch he made.

In week one against Liberty, Proden was named Offensive Player of the Game in a losing effort after scoring the lone touchdown for the Eagles. Proden’s season-high was five catches for 40 yards in a 31-21 win over Blue Springs.

For his efforts last season, Proden was named Honorable Mention All-Suburban Conference.

The Godfather of Recruiting, Mike Farrell, had this to say about Proden,

“2027 WR/DB Jaxen Proden is a smooth WR who is a great route runner and sets up defenders.”—Mike Farrell

Proden has attended several skills camps. His athleticism and versatility are sought-after skills by college coaches. As he prepares for his junior season, Proden is a rising star who has room for improvement and could be on the radar of more college coaches in the coming months.
