Taylor Swift Compared To Jerry Jones in Music Icon's Hot Take

Ever since Taylor Swift started coming to Kansas City Chiefs games to support Travis Kelce, many people have complained about how often she is seen on the TV broadcast.

Often when there was a break in play, the camera would pan to Swift, who was sitting in Kelce's suite at Arrowhead Stadium, much to the discontent of NFL fans.

But that is the reality of being a celebrity and in truth, Swift gets eyeballs on the screen, which is great for the networks, but there was such a backlash from it, and it had nothing to do with Swift as she had no control over it.

Now, Oklahoma music legend Vince Gill, who was appearing on The Oklahoma Hall of Fame podcast, has come to the defense of Swift.

"I've always been crazy about her and I just laugh when everybody gets so uptight that she goes to football games, what's wrong with you,” a laughing Gill said

And then he had some fun roping "America's Team'' into this.

“They don't cut away to her as much as they do Jerry Jones at the Dallas Cowboys games, (so) what's the big deal?''

Gill continued ...

"Somebody said they figured it out on one of the games, and that she was only on camera the entire game for 44 seconds, in a three-and-a-half hour ballgame. You're uptight about that? Really? You know, I don't get it. The scrutiny that that much popularity is under is staggering. It's just a girl that likes a guy, and they're going to a ballgame."

Gill does have a point.

Swift is simply there to watch Kelce do his thing on the field, and yet she gets crushed for it.

Then we look at the Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles that saw thousands of fans boo Swift for simply being there supporting Travis, and that reportedly affected the couple.

But now, it appears they have moved on from it, and whenever Swift is mentioned at football games, at least the couple has a defender in Gill.
