Team Liquid swept Supernova on Sunday as Week 5 concluded in the Overwatch Champions Series 2025 -- North America Stage 2.
Spacestation Gaming was extended to four maps before downing Sakura Esports in the other match on Sunday.
The tournament, played online, features eight teams. The regular-season round robin will conclude on June 15, with six qualifying teams heading to the double-elimination regional playoffs.
The top three teams will advance to the Midseason Championship and North America Stage 3. The prize money has yet to be determined.
Spacestation Gaming responded to a 2-1 loss to Sakura Esports on Ilios Control with consecutive victories on Dorado Escort (1-0), King's Row Hybrid (2-1) and Runasapi Push (144.86m-71.05m). Canadian-American Alex "seeker" Taylor of Spacestation was voted Most Valuable Player.
Team Liquid defeated Supernova 3-0 by winning 2-0 on Oasis Control, 144.86m-30.75m on Runasapi Push and 3-2 on Circuit Royal Escort. American Boston "Infekted" Fine of Team Liquid was MVP.
