Texas running back Jaydon Blue could stay in-state as he takes his career to the next level in the 2025 NFL Draft, with an upcoming meeting with the Houston Texans ahead of April per SEC Network.

Landing with the Texans would put Blue quite literally right back in his own yard after he played out his high school career at Klein Cane High School in Houston, Texas.

The visit marks just one of many of Blue's pre-draft visits, as he will also be meeting with the Philadelphia Eagles, Denver Broncos and Pittsburgh Steelers, just to name a handful.

This will not count against the Texans' top-30 visits. That's because he is a local prospect.

Blue is projected to be a Day 3 pick in the NFL draft, with the chance to emerge as a high-value, low-risk prospect who could immediately enter the league as a solid No. 2 option with some development to be had.

He finished out his final season as a Longhorn with 730 rushing yards, leading the team in rushing yards touchdowns (8). Blue also saw some action through the air, tallying 42 receptions for 368 yards and six touchdowns.

Blue recently put everyone on notice with an impressive Pro Day performance, posting an impressive 4.28 and 4.29-second time.

That's an even further expansion upon his 4.38-second time at the NFL Combine, which was good for second among all running backs at the event.

It will be interesting to watch where Blue ultimately lands... and if that's a rather familiar place. The 2025 NFL Draft is set to get underway on Thursday, April 24.
