In a year that has certainly been filled with collabs we didn't know we needed, here's another one to add to the list! Part skating, part tribute, all rad—the star-studded Monster Energy skate team and Green Day recently joined forces on a fun new film project, "Monsters & Saviors" that surprisingly makes perfect sense. Take a look:

The video features: Nyjah Huston, Jake Yanko, Giovanni Vianna, Gabriel Fortunato, Filipe Mota, Jhancarlos Gonzalez, Fabiana Delfino, Liam Pace, Kieran Woolley, Matt Berger, Tom Schaar, Ruby Lilley, Yam Behar, Rune Glifberg, Trey Wood, Elliot Sloan, Moto Shibata, Cocona Hiraki, and Edouard Damestoy.

With some classic Green Day tracks slotted as the soundtrack, along with "a future classic" as Monster mentions, this 11-minute film is bound to get any skateboarding Green Day fans fired up. It's the perfect blend of MTV music video nostalgia, that fun vibe only classic VHS skate videos can give us and modern day talent.

A regular smörgåsbord of radness!

This also might be the only time we see some of these dudes skating to the sounds of Green Day (Nyjah), and I'm here for it. Ha! The skating is top-notch, the B-Roll is super entertaining and the whole concept of what we're seeing here is pretty rad. Did anyone else see this coming? I doubt it. At least I certainly didn't. But I also didn't expect that Steve Olson cameo, either!

Things get real when they get to Elliot Sloan's compound, but you'll just have to settle in and see it all for yourself. Say what you want, but I enjoyed this. Hats off to all involved!
