Standout UCLA Bruins volleyball star Audrey Pak is using her fifth year of collegiate eligibility after all, and will be back on the net for the Blue and Gold after all, the team's official Twitter/X account has revealed.
Pak's message to the UCLA community is below:
The 5'11" senior setter out of Campolindo High School in Moraga made 19 starts across her 29 matches for UCLA. She started her final 15 contests, racking up 581 assists (an average of 10.02 dimes a set). Her 806 total assists, 40 kills on a .306 conversion rate, 20 aces while serving, 75 blocks and 100 points were all career bests. Pak's 0.71 blocks a set was the second-best such rate for the entire Pac-12 conference. We'll have to see how she stacks up next year in the Big Ten.
Pak, a psychology major, registered her most kills this season, nabbing five against crosstown nemesis USC in November. Her 61 assists at Washington this season were also a career match high.
This year's UCLA women's volleyball team finished its season with a solid 18-12 overall record (10-10 in the Pac-12), but a disappointing 3-7 home record (12-5 on the road, 3-0 on neutral ground).
