USC Trojans Commit Shuts Down Ludicrous Rumor

The USC Trojans still hold the No. 1 2026 recruiting class, and one of their top commitments is 4-star wide receiver Boobie Feaster.

Feaster committed to the Trojans over LSU, Texas A&M, Alabama, and many of the other top programs. While he is committed to the Trojans, that does not mean that other programs will stop trying to flip him.

One of the rumors out there is that Oklahoma has been pushing hard for him. The Sooner Scoop message board has put out there that they were working to get a USC Trojans committed receiver to take a visit during the season, and then the Sooner Scoop posted an article stating that, according to sources, Feaster would likely take an unofficial visit.

“There’s also a mounting sense of belief among sources that four-star WR Boobie Feaster will take an unofficial visit to Oklahoma next month,” the article read. We’ve teased this possibility previously, and the noise continues to percolate.”

Well, Boobie Feaster came out publicly and squashed this rumor. No sources needed.

USC Trojans WR Commit Boobie Feaster Ends Oklahoma Rumor

We all know about the Trojans’ new recruiting policy. Once you commit to the USC Trojans, that is it. No more visits. Both sides are locked in.

In a perfect world, all 32 commits will make it all the way to signing day. I believe that just about all of them will indeed stay locked in, but it would not be surprising if a few decide that they want to keep their recruitment open.

This was the fear among the fanbase with Feaster once this rumor came out. Well, the Trojan family can rest easy.

Straight from Feaster in regards to the Oklahoma rumor:

“I don’t mean no disrespect to anyone but please don’t Lie or speculate on my name unless it came out of me or my parents mouth… THIS IS NOT TRUE.”

You always have to wonder how rumors like this get started, but it’s great to see Feaster speak publicly on it, symbolizing his commitment to the Trojans.

The 6-foot, 175-pound prospect out of DeSoto, Texas, is the 5th-ranked WR in the 2026 class, according to Rivals Industry Rankings. He was originally in the 2027 class, where he was the top-ranked WR, before reclassifying.

His size and playing style give him all the makings of a true outside WR1. He is the 5th receiver in the USC Trojans 2026 class, joining Trent Mosely, Luc Weaver, Roderick Tezeno, and Ja’Myron ‘Tron’ Baker.
