Quarterback Darian Mensah had quite a debut for the Duke Blue Devils, leading them to a win during their season opener. Mensah passed for 389 yards, which was both a career high and the second most by a Duke player making his first start with the Blue Devils. He completed 27 of 34 passes and threw for three touchdowns.
