Intensity doesn’t just happen at the FBS level, as there are plenty of lower-level games across the country that inspire plenty of passion. However, as you can see below, this passion bubbled over on Saturday during a D2 game between Fort Valley State and Central State.
The game, which took place at Fort Valley State in Georgia, was Homecoming for the Wildcats. After their 18-14 loss, which dropped Fort Valley State to 1-4, emotions went a bit too far.
This wasn’t the only bad news for Fort Valley State this week, as only a couple of days before the brawl the school made an announcement regarding the multiple arrests of band members on hazing charges.
Passion on the football field is one thing, but brawls and hazing arrests are something completely different. Fort Valley State needs to get itself cleaned up as soon as possible.
