After losing the previous two years in the title game, North Carolina defeated Virginia 73-66 to win the 1994 ACC Tournament Championship game. This was UNC's fourth consecutive trip to the championship game, but their first win since 1991. Jerry Stackhouse led a balanced Tar Heel scoring attack with 14 points, to go with seven rebounds. Stackhouse was named Tournament MVP. Eric Montross added 12 points, nine rebounds, and three blocks, while Rasheed Wallace had 10 points, and seven rebounds. Harold Deane had 19 points to lead Virginia and Jamal Robinson finished with 13 points and five rebounds.
