West Virginia’s offensive line reload has official momentum: Camden Goforth, a three-star interior lineman from McMinn County (Athens, TN), has flipped his commitment from Coastal Carolina and pledged to the Mountaineers following a weekend visit to Morgantown.

At 6‑foot‑4, 295 pounds, Goforth fits the mold of a modern powerhouse offensive lineman. Rivals describes him as physical and athletic, excelling in both run-based pulling and pass protection with strong feet and reliable hand placement.

West Virginia entered the picture late, offering on May 23 after engaging with staff throughout the spring. Goforth’s visit highlighted the program’s vision and a clear path to early playing time as WVU plans to reload its line, preparing to replace five seniors plus others soon.

“I really like the direction WVU is going,” GoForth said. “Conversations so far have been highly positive, and I can see the winning future for WVU. I already know from conversations with Coach Bicknell that this coaching staff is building something special at WVU, and Coach Rich Rod will definitely make sure it happens.”

Goforth joins Rhett Morris as the second OL commit in WVU’s 2026 class, helping the Mountaineers build future interior depth. His multi-position potential as guard or center offers flexibility for Rich Rochriguez’s future plans.

Camden Goforth’s flip over the weekend signals a meaningful win for West Virginia in securing quality interior talent. His arrival enhances WVU’s 2026 class trajectory, supporting Rich Rodriguez’s vision for a physical, versatile offensive front.
