Brooke Hogan spoke for the first time since her father, WWE legend Hulk Hogan, died suddenly on July 24.
She acknowledged that seeing her father’s embalmed body in a Florida funeral home brought her peace while putting to rest the questions that had been raised in the wake of Hogan’s passing.
In an interview on the "Bubba the Love Sponge" radio show released on Wednesday, Brooke said she visited her father’s body last week and was struck by how much he looked like himself.
“I was able to see my dad. It was very nice," Brooke said. "He looked like he was ready to go on TV. He was big, strong, hair looking good, bandana on, Fu Manchu going. He looked great, I guess, however they make that happen, but he looked great.
"It was awesome to see him, and I said a prayer over him, and I got to say my final goodbyes.”

Brooke admitted she had worried Hulk might look different five weeks after his passing in late July, but her words confirmed he had been embalmed and still appeared “ready for a pay-per-view.”
Hulk Hogan, 71, died of a heart attack in Clearwater, Florida. While authorities initially reported, per TMZ, no signs of foul play, questions soon surfaced regarding potential medical malpractice after reports surfaced that his phrenic nerve had been compromised during a recent surgery.
Speaking to TMZ Live, Brooke acknowledged being relieved by learning that an autopsy had been performed despite her earlier belief that one had not taken place. She confirmed seeing evidence of the procedure but has not yet reviewed the results.
“I never expected murder or anything like that, but I wanted to see the evidence for myself to put my mind at ease,” Brooke said, adding that she does not suspect foul play and is satisfied “everything is on the up and up.”
Brooke, who had previously questioned the circumstances of her father’s death in an earlier appearance on the "Bubba the Love Sponge Show," said her visit will help her rest easier.
“I was able to hug and reconnect with people, see my dad, and know he still looked like himself,” Brooke said.
