After a successful recruiting weekend, the Wisconsin football staff will have another chance to land top talent with a notable list of visitors.
Amongst the visitors will be three-star 2026 offensive lineman Jalayne Miller, a native of Arizona. Wisconsin has begun to recruiting Arizona much more over the past few years, and potentially landing Miller would certainly add to the success out of the state.
The Badgers previously landed four-star offensive tackle Logan Powell in the 2025 recruiting class, who is also an Arizonan. Miller would be another big addition from the state for the Wisconsin football staff but might not be a player who will be easily persuaded.
Miller had official visits booked with Auburn and Stanford and reportedly believes the Tigers to be “high ranking” after a visit this past weekend. Unlike other recruits, Miller has only taken a handful of visits thus far both unofficial and official, with Stanford hosting the offensive lineman for the first time last month.
The trip from Arizona to Madison is no different, and Miller will be on campus for the first time this coming weekend.
With an official visit upcoming for Miller in Madison, the Wisconsin football staff will have to make the most of likely the only visit the recruit makes.
Due to the distance from most major schools, many recruits from Arizona make the most out of the visits that they are able to attend. Both Powell and Miller are examples of that as each recruit only have a handful of visits despite being highly recruited players. Powell himself only visited Wisconsin once, landing in Madison for an official visit and committing to the program the next day.
Currently, Wisconsin is the final official visit for Miller and the program is in a solid position to land a commitment from the recruit barring any changes. The team to watch currently would be the USC Trojans, who have not hosted Miller before but have been recruiting the lineman heavily as of late. The Trojans have locked in a visit the weekend after visiting Madison, according to 247 Sports, which could prove to be the most important visit to date.
Arizona State has also become a program to watch as Miller feels staying close to home would not be a bad thing. The recruit recently attended a practice the Sun Devils held and expressed interest in booking an official visit in the near future.
Many teams have thrown a hat into the race for a commitment from Miller who currently holds 18 scholarship offers. However, teams are not just recruiting Miller due to his size and strength but rather his complete football package on the field.
The offensive lineman stands tall at 6-feet-6-inches and possesses excellent agility when working backwards. Additionally, Miller is also an intelligent player who is consistently breaking down the plays that could occur in front of him. The Wisconsin football staff feels Miller would fit the perfect mold for a Badgers lineman in the future.
