The third round of the 2026 Cadillac Championship gets underway on Saturday at Trump National Doral in Miami, Florida.
Cameron Young, at 13-under par, leads the Cadillac Championship after the second round and holds a five-stroke lead over the rest of the field. With two days remaining, there is still time for the rest of the field to catch up.
Here are my picks and Cadillac Championship Round 3 best bets.
Ben Griffin has performed consistently well through the first two days of this tournament, firing a 2-under 70 in each of the first two rounds. He has utilized this consistency to enter the weekend T16, and, at -130, he is worth backing to remain inside the top 20 for the rest of the tournament.
The driver is arguably the most important club in the bag at Trump National Doral this week. The course returns to the PGA Tour for the first time since 2016 and is a beast of a venue.
Trump National Doral stretches more than 7,700 yards and heavily penalizes players who miss fairways. As a result, both accuracy and distance off the tee are essential, two areas in which Griffin has shown improvement.
He has gained true strokes off the tee in four of his past five tournaments. He is also a three-time winner on the PGA Tour, proving that he can hang among these big names as this Signature Event winds down.
Another golfer worth targeting in this market is Matt McCarty. Like Griffin, McCarty enters the weekend already inside the top 20 after two consecutive under-par rounds.
Also like Griffin, McCarty has been solid with the driver this season, ranking in the 76th percentile on the PGA Tour in strokes gained: off the tee and 82nd percentile in driving accuracy.
McCarty has also excelled on longer holes. This season, he ranks 40th on the PGA Tour in par-5 birdie-or-better percentage.
The last time Trump National Doral hosted a PGA Tour event in 2016, each of the top three finishers ranked inside the top three in the field in par-5 scoring.
