The timing couldn't be better. Just five days earlier, Nelly finished third at the CME Group Tour Championship on November 23 at Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, Florida, wrapping up her ninth season on tour. Talk about a whirlwind few weeks, but the best surprise was still to come.

And honestly, Nelly's been on an absolute roll lately. She played alongside WNBA star Caitlin Clark in the pro-am at The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican on November 12 (a pairing that had fans from both sports losing their minds). Her Player Exclusive golf shoe with Nike dropped on November 20. LeBron James, yes, that LeBron was commenting on her highlights during the last two tournaments of the season. The crossover appeal is real.
