AUGUSTA, Ga. — Masters week has arrived, and the betting board is doing exactly what you’d expect:

Scottie Scheffler is on top — and everyone else is chasing.

As of Monday morning, Scheffler sits as the clear favorite across major sportsbooks, hovering around the +300 to +500 range, reinforcing his status as the man to beat at Augusta National Golf Club.

Right behind him? A familiar list of names that feel inevitable this time of year.

Top of the board

  • Rory McIlroy — roughly +700 to +1000
  • Jon Rahm — around +1000 to +1600
  • Bryson DeChambeau — near +1000 to +1400
  • Ludvig Åberg — around +1400
  • Xander Schauffele — hovering near +1600

It’s a top tier loaded with major winners, recent form and — most importantly — players who actually know how to survive Augusta.

What it means (in plain English)

  • Scheffler = safest bet on the board
  • McIlroy = the storyline machine
  • Rahm / Bryson = power vs. power
  • Åberg = the “this might be the moment” pick
  • Schauffele = lurking… always lurking

And yes, someone from 30-1 or worse will absolutely ruin everyone’s tickets by Sunday.

The Augusta factor

Odds matter — until they don’t.

Augusta has a way of:

  • Exposing bad putting instantly
  • Rewarding elite iron play
  • And humbling even the best players in the world

That’s why the board stays relatively tight at the top. Experience and course history aren’t just helpful here — they’re everything.
