LIV Golf brought the party to Texas this weekend, and it did not disappoint. Hosted at Maridoe Golf Club in Carrollton, the $25 million LIV Golf Dallas presented by Aramco wrapped up Sunday with drama, records, and some serious celebrations. Patrick Reed claimed his first-ever LIV Golf title, sinking a 15-foot birdie putt on the first hole of a four-man playoff to seal the deal.

“To get my first win here, part of LIV, it means so much to me,” Reed said per ctpost. The Crushers GC, led by Bryson DeChambeau, dominated the team event, taking the title by 11 shots with all team members finishing inside the top 11 — their third straight team win.

The playoff was a wild finish, featuring Reed, Jinichiro Kozuma, Louis Oosthuizen, and Paul Casey. Reed, who had started the final round with a three-shot lead, shot a 3-over 75 but bounced back just in time. Kozuma’s late bogey opened the door, and Reed didn’t miss his chance to walk it off in style.

Off the course, the weekend made LIV Golf history. Over 50,000 fans showed up across the three-day event, with Saturday’s crowd topping 20,000 the biggest single-day attendance ever for LIV in the U.S. Fans came from all 50 states and 17 different countries, turning the Dallas stop into a true global affair.

LIV Golf’s official account celebrated with a message: “We welcomed more than 50,000 fans across three days of championship golf and live music Thank you, Dallas, for making this week so special .”

With electric crowds, a dramatic playoff, and big money on the line, LIV Golf Dallas delivered on every front and Reed finally gets to celebrate a win in his home state.
