Megyn Kelly is not happy with what Tiger Woods did following his arrest.
The 50-year-old PGA Tour star was involved in a serious car wreck in Jupiter Island, Florida last week. He was arrested on suspicion of DUI. Woods has pleaded not-guilty and is going abroad for treatment.
Immediately following his wreck, Woods was seen calling President Trump. This irked former Fox News host Megyn Kelly.
Kelly called it "a (expletive) move," and saying, "It’s very clear he called to try to get out of this somehow."
Kelly admitted that it's possible that Woods could have been calling the President of the United States to apologize, though she thinks that's unlikely.
"I’m gonna go with Tiger called him and asked for some help because he knew this was going to be a PR disaster and potentially a legal one -- and both were correct.”
Woods is now facing multiple charges, including DUI with property damage and refusal to submit to a urine test - both misdemeanors - following the incident.
"I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today," the 15-time major champion said in a statement posted to his social media accounts Tuesday night. "I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health. This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery.
"I'm committed to taking the time needed to return to a healthier, stronger, and more focused place, both personally and professionally. I appreciate your understanding and support, and ask for privacy for my family, loved ones and myself at this time."
