The 2024 FedEx Cup Playoffs are underway for the PGA Tour and golfers are in pursuit of one of the biggest prizes in all of golf–$25 million to the winner. The Top 70 players in the FedEx Cup standings are competing in the FedEx St. Jude Championship, which is the first leg of a three-leg event.
Unfortunately, there’s some bad weather expected in Memphis, where Saturday morning storms are forecasted. According to PGA Tour Communications, Round 3 starting times will begin at 9:45 AM to 11:45 AM, off of No. 1 and No. 10 tees in groups of three.
After Round 2 on Friday, Scottie Scheffler currently sits two back at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, putting him at 9-under par. He’s two back from the leaders, Hideki Matsuyama and Denny McCarthy. Both of them are tied at 11-under. Sam Burns is in third place at 10-under. Rookie Nick Dunlap sits at 7-under through 14 holes. It’s his first FedEx Cup and he currently sits in a tie for sixth place.
