Sepp Straka entered Sunday's final round at the Truist Championship with a 14-under score, tied with Shane Lowry at the top of the leaderboard.
Straka ultimately came out on top after carding a 2-under 68, finishing the tournament at 16-under. The Austrian golfer claimed his fourth PGA Tour win by two strokes over Lowry and Justin Thomas.
This Truist Championship victory marks Straka's second win of the 2025 season. Back in January, he claimed top position at the Pete Dye Stadium Course — beating Thomas by two strokes in The American Express.
Straka is now one of two golfers to notch multiple PGA Tour wins in 2025, joining Rory McIlroy (3). He also moves into No. 2 position on the FedEx Cup standings.
The PGA Tour recognized Straka's accomplishments with an announcement on social media.
"Sepp Straka claims the Truist Championship by two strokes over Justin Thomas and Shane Lowry for his fourth career PGA TOUR title. Straka converts his second of three 54-hole leads/co-leads this season and moves to No. 2 in the FedExCup," the tour wrote.
"Straka joins Rory McIlroy (3) as the only players with multiple victories during the 2025 season."

After notching birdies on No. 8 and No. 9, Straka recorded back-to-back bogies on No. 10 and No. 11. He responded with one final birdie on No. 15, as Lowry notched two bogies in the final three holes.
"I hit a lot of really good shots and I made a lot of mistakes," Straka said on the 18th green at the Philadelphia Cricket Club. "... Just keeping the same attitude, same mentality through the whole round."
The 2025 PGA Championship will begin at Quail Hollow on Thursday.
