Scottie Scheffler's incredible form in the 2025 PGA Tour season continues, as he just convincingly topped the Memorial Tournament. The 28-year-old product of the Texas Longhorns came away with his 16th PGA Tour win on Sunday, finishing the tourney at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio, with a final score of 10-under 278 — four strokes better than runner-up Ben Griffin.
A day after he won his second Memorial Tournament, Scheffler sent a heartfelt message to tourney host and golf legend Jack Nicklaus and his wife, Barbara.
"It is an honor to stand beside Mr. and Mrs. Nicklaus," Scheffler wrote in an Instagram story post that also featured a photo of him standing alongside Jack and Barbara.

With his win at Muirfield Village Golf Club, Scheffler now has three victories on the season. Additionally, he has nine top 10s and 12 top 25s while going 12-for-12 on all PGA Tour starts.
All his wins in 2025 have also come from his last four starts, as he emerged victorious at the THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson and the PGA Championship in May.
After his win on Sunday, Scheffler reiterated his desire to challenge the best of the best in golf.
“That’s what I love to do," Scheffler said, per Ben Morse of CNN. "I love being able to play the PGA Tour, and I love being able to compete against the best players in the world and play on great golf courses like this one and be able to play in these legacy tournaments, like Mr. (Arnold) Palmer’s tournament, Mr. Nicklaus’s tournament.”
The Memorial Tournament was founded in 1976 by Nicklaus, who won the event twice, while Tiger Woods holds the tourney's record with five victories.
