20 celebrity pets that will make you say "Aw!"

Oscar, a blonde Yorkie, was a Christmas present in 2018—and he has been the gift that keeps on giving ever since, even for fans on Instagram. Justin and Hailey Bieber also have two exotic cats, Sushi and Tuna, but Oscar is their closest companion. If you want to feel bad about yourself: Oscar's Instagram account has nearly one million followers.

If you're a Swiftie, you know about Taylor Swift's three cats. Actually, even if you aren't a Swiftie, you probably know about the cats. First came Meredith Grey in 2014, then Olivia Benson followed the same year. Both kitties are Scottish Folds. Most recently, the 11-time Grammy winner met Benjamin Button on the set of her 2019 "Me!" music video and adopted him right away. Swift isn't ashamed of her love for cats, including it in the lyrics to the 2017 single "Gorgeous": "There's nothing I hate more than what I can't have and / Guess I'll just stumble on home to my cats, alone."

Emmy-winning Euphoria actress Zendaya has a black miniature schnauzer named Noon, who was a 2015 Christmas gift and was reminiscent of her deceased pup, Midnight. The 24-year-old often mentions Noon in her interviews. In January, for GQ, she called him her "emotional support dog. I try to take him everywhere. He usually comes to work with me."

Jennifer Aniston announced the adoption of Lord Chesterfield from the Wagmor Pet Hotel & Spa in October 2020, to the tune of over 13 million views. (Casual.) The Friends icon—and just icon in general—also has a schnauzer mix named Clyde and a pit bull named Sophie.

Mandy Moore and her husband, Taylor Goldsmith, recently welcomed their first child—a son named Gus—but the couple had plenty of practice before then from a dog (Jackson) and three cats (Figaro, Peanut, and Olivia). On The Ellen DeGeneres Show last March, the This Is Us explained how Figaro harmonizes with her and Goldsmith. Moore's beloved dog Joni passed away last December, and Goldsmith made a stuffed-animal version of her for Gus to snuggle with.

Hilary Duff and her husband, Matthew Coma,  recently became dog parents to St. Bernard puppy Winnie. The Lizzie McGuire and Younger actress appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show earlier this month and called Wendy "the size of a dinosaur" and explained that Coma thinks he resembles her. 

Tragedy struck in late February when Lady Gaga tweeted that her "beloved" French bulldogs, Gustav and Koji, had been stolen in Hollywood after armed robbers shot her dog walker, Ryan Fischer. The 12-time Grammy winner and A Star is Born starlet offered $500,000 for their safe return, and it was reported Gustav and Koji were returned soon after.

It's only right that Kendall Jenner's Doberman pinscher, Pyro, is a natural model. During an Instagram Live session with the Biebers during the lockdown, where Oscar also made an appearance, the 25-year-old gushed over Pyro and her other Doberman named Six.

The 'K' tradition lives on. Kylie Jenner introduced her newest addition in February: Kevin. Kylie has (or has had) upwards of nine dogs, including Italian greyhounds Bambi and Norman.

Patrick Mahomes and his fiancee, Brittany Matthews, welcomed a daughter named Sterling Skye Mahomes in late February. The one-month-old has predictably stolen their hearts, but there will always be room for cane Corso Silver and pitbull Steel. The snuggly duo has their own Instagram , promoted proudly in the Kansas City Chiefs MVP quarterback's bio.

Silver and Steel may have the face of football's next generation for a dad, but Boujee is living the  life. Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster was scared of dogs for a long time after a chihuahua bit him around 10 years old. But the Pro Bowler's blue French bulldog, Boujee, has made him a certified dog lover. Boujee has his own popular Instagram account, which describes his favorite song as Migos' "Bad and Boujee" and dotes on his "girlfriend" Portia—another Frenchie.

Selena Gomez recently (and virally) showed love to the aforementioned Benjamin Button and Taylor Swift, but the "Lose You to Love Me" singer's true loves are dogs, Winnie and Daisy. Winnie has been in Gomez's life since at least August 2019—accompanying Mom to record label meetings ever since—while Daisy was introduced in March 2020.

You would never know that Kate Beckinsale is a famous actress based on her Instagram, which is chock-full of pet footage. Beckinsale owns a Pomeranian named Myf along with two attitude-filled cats named Clive and Willow.

Legendary actress Drew Barrymore found a stunt double in her similarly red-haired cat Peach. The '90s rom-com icon turned daytime talk show host also has cute pups, Douglas and Lucy. 

So, Martha Stewart has so many pets: three cats, 200 chickens, three dogs, donkeys, several horses, even geese. Pictured here is Princess Peony. The chef and lifestyle mogul showcases her furry (and feathered) friends on Instagram, including French bulldogs named Crème Brûlée and Bete Noire. Stewart is so passionate about animals that she launched a pet-friendly CBD line to start 2021. (No word whether frequent collaborator and even more frequently high Snoop Dogg helped.)

Like Stewart, Oprah Winfrey loves animals. According to her namesake magazine, the legendary host and interviewer has had more than 20 dogs in her life: "Over the years I have felt the truest, purest love—the love of God, really, I imagine that’s what God’s love feels like—is the love that comes from your dog," the magazine shared as an excerpt from a Super Soul Sunday episode in 2014. Sadie, the perfect cocker spaniel pictured here, was rescued by Oprah from Chicago no-kill animal shelter PAWS in 2009.

Jada Pinkett-Smith posted an ode to all the family's doggies—Bandit (pictured here), Beijing Black, Blue, Fang, Money Boy, and Simba—on this year's National Puppy Day. Sadly, they recently lost their dog, Teddy, after 15 years of love. Bandit, as a small puppy, made his Red Table Talk debut last October. Famed dog whisperer Cesar Millan gifted Bandit to Pinkett-Smith for her 49th birthday last September.

Equally famous, successful, and talented musicians Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes have become a fan-favorite power couple. They gave fans even more to freak out about by bringing home golden retriever puppy Tarzan last November. During a virtual meet-and-greet Zoom with fans for his latest album Wonder, Mendes admitted that he originally wanted to name his new dog son "Poo," but instead it is just a nickname. 

Speaking of celebrity power couples, Grammy-winning singer Dua Lipa and model Anwar Hadid took their relationship up a notch by adopting Dexter. The "Don't Start Now" songstress announced their "perfect" addition last August and then gushed over her "son" who is "the poster child for puppy dog eyes." Using this evidence and this evidence alone, we can conclude that all Dua Lipa does is spit facts.

The Toronto Maple Leafs made it difficult to choose just one of their players' pups, but former No. 1 overall pick Auston Matthews makes it impossible not to adore how much he loves his new dog, Felix. The center often calls Felix "dood" and listed the fluffernutter as one of the 10 things he can't live without for GQ. "He brightens up my day every day, even when he poops in my house or disobeys me," Matthews said.
