Star gymnast Katelyn Ohashi shows off sphynx cat in new "Meet the Pets" episode

Katelyn Ohashi is best known as a viral UCLA gymnast who scored a perfect 10 on the floor exercise at the 2019 Collegiate Challenge. But it's her cat Bonnie that's really the perfect 10. 

In the latest episode of Whistle's "Meet the Pets", the 24 year-old tells the backstory of how Bonnie turned her into a cat person through some well-timed cuddle-time. The 1-year old sphynx cat came into her life during quarantine, but is now a regular fixture treating her apartment like a jungle gym and going on road trips.

Why the name Bonnie? Ohashi explained that she fell in love with the name, but after mulling whether to hold it for a potential child's name down the line, ultimately thought "it was a best fit for an animal."
