
The Yankees continue to wait on Aaron Judge, who missed another contest on June 3. And heading into the final game of their series with the Guardians on June 4, the team may not have a clear picture of the exact nature of Judge’s injury.
Yankees manager Aaron Boone stated that Aaron Judge will undergo additional testing, and Boone indicated that the reason was to get clarity on the outfielder’s injury.
Judge sat out again on June 3 as he battles a bone bruise.
The Diamondbacks held infielder Ketel Marte out on June 3 thanks to a back and hamstring injury.
Marte was said to be available off the bench, per manager Torey Lovullo.
The Angels placed catcher Travis d’Arnaud on the 10-day IL with right plantar fasciitis.
Red Sox infielder Nick Sogard was placed on the 10-day IL with an oblique strain.
Brewers pitcher Rob Zastryzny was placed on the 15-day IL with a left trapezius strain.
Giants reliever Matt Gage is on the IL with right knee inflammation.
Astros pitcher Cristian Javier walked two and gave up two hits over 0.2 IP with Double-A Corpus Christi. Javier tossed 28 pitches.
Also in the Texas League, Corey Seager and Wyatt Langford were both in action for Frisco. Langford went 1-3 with a home run, while Seager went 0-3.
Mets pitcher Kodai Senga struck out five over five for Triple-A Syracuse, allowing six hits and two walks. Additionally, Jorge Polanco went 0-2 with a strikeout.
Blue Jays catcher Alejandro Kirk went 1-2 with a home run for Low-A Dunedin. Yimi Garcia pitched a scoreless inning in Dunedin.
Angels shortstop Zach Neto (neck) sat out on June 3. Maikel Garcia (hamstring) did, as well, the fourth game in a row for the Royals’ infielder.
Jorge Soler exited on June 3 with left hip irritation.
