Both the Dodgers & Padres dealt with their share of injury problems on October 6, which marked Game 3 of the 2026 NLDS. Miguel Rojas was forced out early during the Dodgers’ win in Atlanta, while Gavin Sheets was a late scratch against Dustin May and the Brewers.

Rojas departs in Atlanta

Dodgers infielder Miguel Rojas was removed mid-at-bat in the eighth inning on October 6 with lower back pain.

Rojas indicated after the game that back tightness flared up during a play in the field. Then in the eighth, he tweaked his back again, which prompted his exit. The Dodgers infielder indicated that he’ll receive treatment and hope to be available for Game 4.

Sheets scratched from Game 3

Padres DH Gavin Sheets was scratched from the club’s Game 3 starting lineup with neck stiffness.

Sheets was replaced in the lineup by Samad Taylor.
