
Today at 4:23 p.m. MLB FOX announced via X that Andrew McCutchen has been DFA’d by the Texas Rangers, the veteran spent 37 games in Arlington.
The Rangers have designated Andrew McCutchen for assignment.

During his time with the Rangers, he posted a .192/.277/.260 slash line.
The 18-year-veteran was drafted in the 1st round of the 2005 MLB draft by the Pittsburgh Pirates.
He is best known for his 12 seasons with Pittsburgh, playing the first nine seasons of his career in the “City of Bridges”.
McCutchen has had an illustrious career and is almost certainty Cooperstown bound once he retires.
No team has currently made an offer for McCutchen, but it will be interesting to see if he possibly returns to Pittsburgh for one last hurrah.
