This afternoon, the Arizona Diamondbacks will take on the Baltimore Orioles for their third and final game of their series in a day game over at Chase Field.
The Arizona Diamondbacks will be having Brandon Pfaadt take over today, as he comes in with a 1-1 record with a 5.25 ERA. His most recent outing at Washington last Friday, he got his first victory of the season. In six innings of work, Pfaadt gave up six hits and four runs. In both of his starts this season he has went six innings and has given up four home runs. His only start ever against the Orioles, Pfaadt also pitched six innings of work while giving up three runs in a 4-2 loss in Baltimore.
Dean Kremer is on the mound for the Baltimore Orioles today, as he will be coming into today’s matchup with a 1-1 record and a 6.52 ERA so far on the 2025 season. Kremer, who gave up five runs in 5.1 innings, followed it up by giving up two earned runs in 4.1 innings of work in his second start. He faced the D-Backs last season, and was handed a loss as the Snakes scored six runs in 5.2 innings. Kremer also struck out 10 in that meeting.
Corbin Carroll has started this season off on a completely different path than his 2024 season where he struggled early. Carroll in 2025 has four home runs, seven RBI’s, and has a .304 batting average. Picking up all the extra weight now that Ketel Marte is injured for what could be weeks. Josh Naylor also has five doubles and four RBI’s over his last 10 games.
The D-Backs look to win their second series of the season over Baltimore today with first pitch being at 12:40 p.m. MST.
