The Atlanta Braves made a flurry of moves this morning to adjust their bullpen for tonight’s game, and have made another move. They announced this afternoon that they’ve claimed outfielder Jake Fraley off waivers from the Cincinnati Reds. This gives the Braves an outfield consisting of Ronald Acuna Jr., Michael Harris, Jarred Kelenic, Jurrickson Profar, Carlos Rodriguez, Eli White, and soon Fraley.

The 30-year-old outfielder this season in 67 games has hit .232 with a .719 OPS. He has eight doubles, six home runs, 23 RBI, 29 runs scored, four stolen bases, and 24 walks. In seven games at Triple-A Louisville, he has hit .185 with a .575 OPS. He had a double, a home run, two RBI, three runs scored, a stolen base, and two walks. In 459 career big league games, he has hit .247 with a .736 OPS. He has 64 doubles, three triples, 47 home runs, 179 RBI, 180 runs scored, 61 stolen bases, and 161 walks. Fraley was originally drafted in the second round of the 2016 MLB Draft by the Tampa Bay Rays. He made his big league debut with the Seattle Mariners, who acquired him via trade on November 8, 2018. The Braves will be his third team in his big league career.
