It all comes down to one game for the Toronto Blue Jays.

The Blue Jays will look to punch their ticket to the World Series for the first time since 1993 when they take on the Seattle Mariners in Game 7 of the American League Championship Series at Rogers Centre. The Mariners are looking for their first American League pennant in franchise history.

The pitching matchup will be a repeat of Game 3, when Shane Bieber got the best of George Kirby in Toronto’s 13-4 victory at T-Mobile Park. Bieber was excellent in that outing, holding the Mariners to two runs over six innings with eight strikeouts and just one walk.

Kirby, meanwhile, struggled to keep the Blue Jays in check, allowing eight runs on eight hits with three home runs, four strikeouts, and two walks. He’s had issues with the Blue Jays throughout his career, allowing 25 hits and 10 earned runs (6.28 ERA) in 14 1/3 innings.

Kirby will have to find an answer for Blue Jays superstar Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Guerrero put together another incredible performance in Game 6, blasting his sixth home run of the postseason, as part of a two-hit performance.

The winner of Game 7 will take on the National League champion Los Angeles Dodgers in the World Series, which will get underway on Friday, Oct. 24. The Blue Jays would have home-field advantage if they advance, while the Dodgers would start the series at home if Seattle comes out on top.
