Boston Red Sox All-Star Game Trade Speculation

Now it appears Crochet and Bregman, who are both in their first season with the Red Sox, are selling Ryan on the idea of Boston. Ryan also commented on media day about the trade deadline.

If the Red Sox acquire Ryan at the deadline, it’ll make them a dangerous team and potentially one of the best pitching staffs not just in the American League but in all of baseball. They’d have a rotation of Crochet, Ryan, Brayan Bello, Lucas Giolito, and one of Tanner Houck, Walker Buehler, or Richard Fitts in the fifth spot.

He’s appeared in 103 games in his career, with 102 of those coming as starts. He is 42-30 with a 3.70 ERA, a 3.73 FIP, a 1.04 WHIP, and 646 strikeouts in 579.2 innings.
